Challenges:
Lent: Gave up diet soda (regular soda was given up ages ago)
June Challenge #1: Salt-stopped adding salt to foods
June Challenge #2: On the wagon, no more drinking while I'm on blood thinners!
June Challenge #3: adding chia seeds
- chia seeds were added to a chia fizz drink and three green monsters!
- I use purchased agave and used honey instead of sugar free maple syrup.
- Even when hubby forgot to include the salt in a recipe, I didn't add any. I haven't had any soda, I have been drinking coffee without equal and of course I haven't had any alcohol. I haven't had time to make a chia fizz again, but I will!
Oops I fell off this wagon....Challenges to start again...soon.
Workouts
This is the area I need to work on! I have my own personal challenge: for every comment I get I add a minute to my baseline 10 minutes of working out.
So far my workouts consist of:
- Walking the almost 1 mile home from work
- Minutes here and there on my treadmill
- Climbing the 12 flights of stairs to our apartment
- 1-3 mile runs throughout the neighborhood

Strength training 3x/week

Product Review Policy
On occasion companies approach me to review their products. It is my policy to mention that the product was given to me for free when I first mention it. Many of my product reviews are just that. Reviews of places I've gone and food I've eaten and enjoyed (or not enjoyed). It is my goal to share with all of you what I've found works and doesn't work. I hope you enjoy, and please ask if you have any questions!

Just so you know, there is an Eye-Fi card which does allow you to shoot in RAW - the EyeFi 4GB SDHC PRO card. You can find it on Amazon and there are really good deals on it for the holiday. In addition to RAW, you also get automated Geotagging (if you take pictures where there is WiFi), roaming, and the ad hoc feature which allows you to wirelessly transfer photos from your camera to a local laptop without there even being a wi-fi network. Just make sure you have a camera that takes SDHC-type of SD card.
Thanks Carl, I saw that, but I just recently purchased the 4GB non-pro card so I can't justify the expense of buying another card. Thanks though!
Love your blog! So inspiring that there are other people out there who are passionate about help and change! Keep it up!
