Motivation

Before I start the post, I just want to say that after my post yesterday about fiber I found myself at 19 grams after dinner last night.  I shoot for 25-35...Crap!  I will admit, my mind quickly went to the fiber one bar I have reserved for emergencies.  But no! Because I was talking to all of you, I decided to eat my fave blueberries and cream recipe, with the added bonus of flax seed meal.  I have to admit that the flax took away from the awesome blueberries. But I was proud to have found a natural source of fiber to satisfy my sweet craving!

Starting today, I am going to leave my workouts in your hands.  What do you need to do?  Add a comment!  That's all, I will work out 1 minute for each comment you leave.  So, lurkers, time to come out of the shadows and make me work by bum off!  I need a reason to stay on the elliptical/take a walk, and challenges definitely get me motivated.  I've already 'promised' chubby chick that I will do 10 minutes a day, so your comments will add to that 10 minutes.  I will make this an open challenge and every morning I'll tally the comments from the previous day and work out that much that night!

Wanna see me sweat?  Leave a comment.

This is a really good idea! Add a minute for me :)

And I bought those fiber one bars yesterday. I don't get really any fiber during the day.. :/ .. 19 g is really good!

Anyway, good luck on your workout!

Add a minute for me too! I love this idea :)

I'm sort of a Fiber One bar addict. I know on South Beach I'm not going to be able to eat them anymore (at least initially). I think it's fantastic that you are looking for more natural ways to get in your dietary fiber. I just read an article (I dont remember where) that is questioning all of the fiber that is now added into things like yogurt.

Another minute for me!

I'm also stuck on the Fiber One bars. The chocolate fiber one bars satisfy my chocolate craving. It's better than grabbing a candy bar, right?

Add another minute for me too. I think that is a great motivator. Go you!

I'll add a minute, too! I read somewhere that it takes (only) 20 minutes of exercise to benefit from its mood-lifting effects. If you get 10 comments, that will be 20 minutes a day and help jumpstart the exercise endorphin-addiction process.

Here I am...adding another minute to your workout! I know what you mean about flax - so good for you, but kinda dry-like bumps off of sandpaper. How's that for an endorsement?

Add a minute for me too! What a great idea! Have you ever tried the Fiber powder you can add to food or even water. We used to buy it at Wal-Mart. You have no idea it is there. Can't wait to hear what kind of exercise you do today and for how long! Blessings--Bonnie
