Are you doing what you dreamed you would be doing? I’ve always kind of dreamed of being artistic in some way and have never really been great at anything artistic. (Just ask my dad about my singing skills) Instead I got my social work degree and have been working in offices for ‘the man.’ It’s not that I don’t like my job, I’m working on some really interesting stuff. I just keep wondering if there is more?
Dan is finally getting the opportunity pursue his dreams and I am so excited for him, it’s making me think of what I would want to do other than my 9-5. I’m having a ton of fun with my photography but who knows if it will become a thing. Additionally, I’m a little concerned about having a job where I am 10 feet away from my refrigerator most of the time! It’s funny to me that my weight/relationship with food even influences my career goals and dreams!
Are any of you pursuing your dreams? What are they?
The photo segment of this post is going to be short because I accidentally left my camera on my tripod at home! If you want to see my meals take a look at yesterday’s breakfast and dinner and there you go!
Dinner was leftovers again. I had an artichoke and some of TJs fries.
I’m off now to try to figure out how to make my pictures sharper and my composition nicer!
Tell me what your dream job is! I’m so curious!

My dream job? I think honestly just what I'm doing now. I love my life!
ugh... I'm working on figuring that one night...
i think i often play it too safe when I should be a tad more riskier..
i wonder if it's a sign that yahoo was running an article that you shouldnt stay at your job just because its a job if you dislike it?!
Your photos look great :) And I know a good photog when they can make beautiful happen with a point n shoot. Because I've seen MANY a "photographer" with amazing equipment and awful work. So go you :) Food photography for magazines and such - think of that? I think you'd be great at it! Because you have the interest, first of all!
As for what I want to do. I've harassed myself with that question for the past 10 years it seems. Feeling terrible because I wasn't where I hoped I'd be. But looking at myself now, I'm calming downand happy to go with the flow. That being said, I am open to new ideas and new directions... and I hope I find it soon :)
Well like you, my current lifestyle of food and fitness has really shaped my life different... even down to my career.
I actually took a leap and signed up for information on getting certified as a personal trainer!! Something I never even dreamed I would do.
But I've been playing around with the idea for several months and I'm finally taking the steps to my dream!
