I can't stand chewing noises, I may have to re-think that movie!

I heard a story on the radio news the other day about how "women eat like a bird when they are out with men but woof down when out with their girlfriends". According to their 'expert' women ate a WHOOPING 100 more calories when not with men. Really? 100 calories is whooping??

Bridget Jones was the first thing I thought of when reading this post too - RZ looks WAY better as Bridget Jones than when at her lollipop Hollywood weight. At least in the book when she loses weight (eating like 500 calories a day) her friends start telling her that she looks tired and sick.

I can't be in the same room when my hubby eats cereal. He is loud and obnoxious. Funny thing is, I learned he was that way as a child, too. (MIL, why didn't you teach him?!!! lol)

AHHH! Loud eating is my number one pet peeve. Seriously. It makes me annoyed even just thinking about it!

Our pop culture is saturated in hypermasculinity therefore it's not surprising that the twits out there would focus on the weight of these amazing actresses rather than the popularity of a film made by a woman that is about women who are not sex objects.

Aghh this is my biggest pet peeve! I found it bad in Bridget Jones' Diary where she balloons to a whopping "135lbs" WHAT!?!?!?! Then she goes on a steady diet of cigarettes to lose it all - healthy! What a great example. Can't help but think that movie contributed to more than a handful of eating disorders.
